D-Dimer

Quantitative test for D-Dimer

The FREND™ D-Dimer is designed for in-vitro quantitative measurement of Fibrin degradation products (FbDP, D-Dimer) in human plasma (sodium citrate) by fluorescence immunoassay.

KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Quantitative result of D-Dimer within 3 minutes
- Fast and accurate test result
- To diagnose DVT(Deep Vein Thrombosis) or PE(Pulmonary Embolism)
- Point-Of-Care Testing which allows for better immediate clinical management decisions

In-vitro Quantitative Measurement of D-Dimer

D-Dimer is a fibrin degradation product (or FDP), a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis. The concentration of D-Dimer may be determined by a blood test to help diagnose thrombosis. It is used in the diagnosis of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), PE (Pulmonary Embolism). Its main use is to exclude thromboembolic disease where the probability is low. In addition, it is used in the diagnosis of the blood disorder disseminated intravascular coagulation.

Instructions for use

Accurate Quantitative Result in 3 minutes!

With 35μL of sample, you can get a quantitative result of D-Dimer in 3 minutes conveniently and immediately to the patient.

The FREND D-Dimer is designed for use with the FREND System. The FREND System uses microfluidic and immunofluorescence technology. With a simple 3 step operation and a wide range of disease markers, it supports quick decision-making.

High correlation value

Accuracy and Precision

The FREND D-Dimer shows a high correlation compared to a predicate device and provides accurate results.
